Childrens Classes

Welcome to the program of Children’s Aikido at Northeast Aikikai. We are looking forward to teaching you (or your son or daughter) the art of Aikido. We have prepared these notes to help answer some of the questions that are natural when entering a program with its own unique structure and goals.

There is always something to learn on the mat when doing Aikido, and while we are teaching Aikido we are also learning many things ourselves. We want you to know how very much we value the opportunity to be learning those things from your children, each of whom is special. Every child with whom we work has something very unique and special to teach us and one of our very real goals is to try to give back to the children at least as much as they have given to us.
