New discounts program at the Methuen Aikido!

Both begin in right hanmi chudan no kamae

1. Uke and uchi raise bokken overhead and step in with the left foot. Lower bokken down to waki gamae.

2. Both step with the right foot and strike shomen uchi.

3. Uchi raises the sword and begins stepping with the left foot to cut shomen uchi.Uke slides in and with a tsuki to the throat.

4. Uchi completes the shomen uchi stepping with the left foot.Uke steps to the left with the left foot and strikes yokomen uchi to side of uchi’s head.

5. Uchi steps back with the left foot and raises the bokken overhead preparing for another strike.Uke steps in with the right foot, across the line to the right, and cuts uchi’s left wrist.
